Pursuit Fitness offers many different programs for individuals of different age groups, abilities, needs and goals.

Osteofit

‚ÄčIt can be frightening to learn you have osteoporosis or low bone density. You might mistakenly think exercise will cause you to fall and break your bones. Research shows that exercise helps to build your muscles, improve mobility and balance and reduces your risk of falls and fractures.

OSTEOFIT has been designed specifically for those with osteoporosis and low bone density who and are looking for an appropriate exercise program. It is safe and gentle and will teach you how to reduce the risk of future fractures and the exercises will strengthen the muscles that support the spine and hip.

This group fitness program is NOT only limited to those with Osteopenia and Osteoporosis, it is a beneficial program for ALL seniors whose goal is to build bone and muscle mass, increase balance and prevent falls.

If you struggle with the pain and stiffness of Arthritis, Fibromyalgia or any other inflammatory diseases, you need to consider an appropriate exercise program for your condition. Low impact , low intensity exercise is recommended for those with Arthritis to help preserve muscle strength, joint mobility, improve functional capabilities, relieve pain and stiffness.

Non-weight bearing activities such as warm water pool exercises put all joints through their range of motion to maintain mobility.

Fibrofit is a specially designed water exercise program in a 90 degree heated pool for post rehab clients and individuals with Arthritis, Fibromyalgia and other inflammatory diseases. It is a low-impact program offering gentle strengthening and range of motion exercises, balance and stretching to limber up stiff and achy joints.

  • 10 week program
  • Monday to Friday
  • 11:45-12:45 at Hawthorn Park

Nutritional Coaching for Wellness & Weight Loss

No pills, no formulas, and no fad diets will provide you with long term weight loss and health!! Research has shown that natural Weight loss through balanced nutritional choices and keeping a food log is the most successful way to lose weight and keep it off!

A good nutritional program includes eating "real food". I will teach you a way of fueling your body in a way that is sustainable for life and help you develop a great relationship with food.

My program will educate you on the roles Carbohydrates, Fats and Protein play in your body, debunk diet myths, calculate your BMR, and include recipes and meal plans.

Whether you live in an apartment, house or work in an office we will meet you where you are to train, motivate and empower you to attain your fitness goals. You don't need expensive equipment to get a good workout, just a ball, a resistance band/dumbells and some creativity!
